What is GuideSail?
GuideSail is a product tour tool built for non-technical teams at startups. It lets you create in-app guides visually, using our chrome extension — no code required to build.
What guides look like
Guides are made up of one or more steps. Each step is one of three types:
| Step type | Description |
|---|---|
| Tooltip | A small pop-up anchored to a specific element on the page. Good for pointing out UI features. |
| Popup | A centered dialog box. Good for welcome messages or announcements. |
| Click | An invisible step that automatically clicks an element to advance the UI before the next step. |
